“Arrow”, the work-readiness workshop conducted by John Keells Group, was held for the 7th consecutive year on the 26th, 28th, and 29th of September 2017, at the JKH Auditorium.

Arrow 2017 was advertised ahead of the event, where interested undergraduates from the fields of  Accounting & Finance, Management & Marketing,  Engineering, Physical & Bio Sciences and Information Technology as well as school leavers, could register for the limited seats available.

The first 150 participants who registered this year, were allocated to a full day workshop on one of the above 3 days, based on their preference and background, where they were introduced to the diverse industry sectors of the John Keells Group and the myriad of career opportunities available therein. Thereafter the participants had the opportunity to developing their soft skills, where Group staff conducted sessions on Business Etiquette, Communication, Professionalism and CV writing. Each participant received a certificate of completion at the end of each workshop.
