Our Ports and Shipping businesses comprises Sri Lanka's first private sector terminal operator - South Asia Gateway Terminals in consortium with A.P. Møller Terminals, Lanka Marine Services – the primary supplier of marine bunker fuels and lubricants in Sri Lanka and Mackinnon Mackenzie and Company (Shipping) Limited, which is widely known and respected by both Sri Lankan and overseas shipping communities.

South Asia Gateway Terminals (SAGT), the first private container terminal operator in Sri Lanka commenced operations in 1999, propelling the Port of Colombo forward as a South Asian gateway hub for global trade. Today, the terminal is one of three operators in the Port of Colombo and continues to offer the international container shipping community a competitive, world-class service. The Journal of Commerce USA has ranked SAGT as number 1 in South Asia and number 4 in the world, for berth productivity.
Lanka Marine Services (Private) Limited (LMS) is Sri Lanka’s premier bunker supplier. With a wealth of experience spanning over two decades, LMS maintains a strong network with global bunker traders and brokers and has developed a reputation for timely delivery of quality bunkers through exceptional service and reliability. LMS is also the sole stockist and distributor in Sri Lanka for marine lubricants from nine global oil majors including BP Castrol, Total, Mobil and Lukoil; storing and delivering these products to nominated vessels.
Mackinnon Mackenzie and Company (Shipping) Limited (MMS) is a well-known and respected name in the shipping community in Sri Lanka and overseas. In the passenger services area, MMS has provided agency services to P&O Cruises, Princess Cruises and Swan Hellenic. MMS offers a full spectrum of agency services in Sri Lanka to Cruise Liners, Container Carriers, Break-Bulk Carriers, Ro-Ro Operators, Tanker & Barge Operators and NVOCC Operators. MMS is a member of the Ceylon Association of Ships Agents and Sri Lanka Freight Forwarders Association.
