The John Keells Group’s Chairperson, Krishan Balendra, was recognised as one of the Top 10 Diversity Champions, in commemoration of International Men’s Day 2023 by Women in Management and the International Finance Corporation. Krishan was recgonised for his commitment to the long-term sustainable initiatives under the ONE JKH brand in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) in the workplace, value chains, and community.
Speaking at a panel discussion at the event, Krishan shared insights and experience on driving DE&I and the progressive steps the Group has taken – such as equal 100 days parental leave, which translates into business and shareholder value.
