Lanka Marine Services (Pvt) Ltd expands its fleet!

Lanka Marine Services (Pvt) Ltd expanded its fleet of bunker barges by purchasing its latest bunker barge MT. “Lanka Marine Mahaweli” which arrived in Sri Lanka on the 20th of May 2017. At a length of 93 meters, it is capable of accommodating 2600 MT of marine fuel to supply at the ports of Sri Lanka. 

The purpose of this acquisition is to meet the growing demand of the marine fuel market and to revolutionise the standards of operational safety during deliveries in line with international standards. MT. “Lanka Marine Mahaweli” is the first double hull bunker barge to commence operations in Sri Lanka.
